Phyllan
(*Bancock
x DS Kohana/ Druzi Szlem)
Phyllan, foaled 1987, is one
of our foundation mares and epitomizes the classic
Kuhailan lineage. She is of pure Polish decent by the Kurozweki bred *Bancock who was sired by the immortal
Banat. *Bancock's dam, Bajra, was winner of the 1968
Polish Oaks, and *Bancock has sired several race winners
and performance champions. Phyllan's dam line traces to
Sahara, one of the most genetically potent in Polish
breeding, particularly in producing stallions. Of note,
she is the direct descendant of Swedish National Champion
Diara Mokka and her exceptional daughter
Diaspora. She
also has crosses to Negatiw on her distaff side to the
*Nabor son *Druzba -- Canadian and US Top Ten Stallion.
Phyllan is the dam of our stallion, the Class A and
Futurity Halter Champion, as well as winning racehorse,
WA Pejczyk. In addition, she has
produced very nice filly by Ontario who is already a champion, see below.
