Bred at Janów Podlaski stud, *Borowina was named Reserve Polish National Champion mare in 1990. By the same sire are legendary racing sire *Wiking, Etap, *Borowina has produced some of Poland's finest race horses, most notably Borek and Boryslaw -- both Race Horses of the Year in Poland and successful sires as well. Most recently, her son Bohun as stood as chief sire at Bialka stud a number of seasons. Borowina's daughters have sold to around the world as significant additions to performance breeding programs. Wintersteen Arabians is honored to have the blood of *Borowina represented on our farm through her granddaughter WA Borkata.
