*Banat

Banat is the most significant post war stallion of the Kuhailan Kryzyk sire line, established in Poland in 1876.  Banat was sent briefly to the UK in exchange for Burkan.  While in the UK, Banat was named National Champion Stallion.  After his return to Poland, he was sold to the US in 1986 for $525,000 where he died shortly after his arrival. His influence remains through the his sons Arbil, Piechur, Al Banat, and Bancock, along with his daughters, most notably through Albaneta and Polish National Champion Mare Pipi.
