Conformation Appraisal

1.
Balance
- Initially, the most striking element about Pejczyk is superior
overall balance as an individual. This trait prompted Scott
Benjamin, noted judge and equine scholar, to comment "WA
Pejczyk stands out amongst stallions in the Arabian breed as one
of the most correct and functionally athletic."
2.
Hip - The hip is the engine
of the performance horse, and Pejczyk's is long and exceptionally
well-muscled. As proof of his functional power, Pejczyk recorded
a 3 furlong/ 37.1 seconds official work at Arapahoe Park as a 3
year old - Thoroughbred type speed that defies superlatives!
3.
Chest - Pejczyk's deep, wide
and well-developed chest with long sloping shoulder completes
this picture of exceptional overall balance. Pejczyk does not
"disappear" when viewed from the front.
4.
Legs - Simply put, few
horses can compare to Pejzyck's conformationally correct and
clean legs, both fore and aft. This attribute has earned praised
from show ring judges - both sport horse and halter - along with
track trainers and vets. As proof of this correctness, Pejczyk
raced sound and medication free for four seasons.
5.
Neck - One of the more
exciting attributes that Pejczyk is regularly passing on to his
foals is a well set, flexible and useable neck with outstanding
length of pole that promises to bridle extremely well.
6.
Coupling - Pejczyk's well
muscled back, short and extremely well coupled, is a significant
contribution that he can make as a sire to the breed.
7.
Gaskin - His well-muscled
gaskin has few equals in the Arabian breed and is a tremendous
compliment to his hip and loin. In this respect, he is a
significant improvement over his sire - already noted for this
trait.
8. Eye - A large and luminous eye gives the head
a handsome appearance - a trait of Pejczyk and his foals.
9.
Ears - Another attribute in which Pejczyk is
an improvement over his sire is his short, typey ears.
