Estansia had a beautiful filly by recent Polish import *Hun (Gazal al Shaqab x Hulanka by Penthagonn). This is Estansia's second filly for the farm and could be one of her best. The gray filly is one of the tallest we have had, super disposition, and very correct. She is maternal siblings to champions WA Elegancja, WA Emfatyk and WA Epic.

Her sire *Hun is multiple regional halter champion and was bred by Bialka State Stud. *Hun is owned by the *Hun partnership and this is only his second filly to date. This will be the first blood of Gazal Al Shaqab on the farm.  Gazal has proven himself in Poland, not only in the show ring with incredible horses like *Pianissima and *Emandoria but on the track too with the 2008 Derby runner up Germanik  -- proof Gazal was truly an inspired choice for Poland.

*Hun is out of the Kurozweki bred mare Hula who was a 2006 Pride of Poland sale graduate for 160,000 Euros to Australia.  *Hun's dam Hula and second dam Hulanka are arguably one of the best Eukaliptus daughters not from Michalow.  The quality and type of *Hun is self evident, but also both broodmare sires, Penthagonn, who we saw in 1995, and world renowned Eukaliptus, had tremendous length of neck which really brings an important aspect to the mating.

Melissa SA is currently bred to SF Veraz for a 2010 foal.  We saw SF Veraz at Scottsdale and were extremely impressed with his overall quality.  We strongly believe he is potentially another superior avenue for the blood of *Gazal al Shaqab through one of his sons.  This will be Melissa SA's 6th foal for the farm, she has already produced race winner WA Miss Emaranta (*Emanor) and Colorado Futurity Champion Filly WA Miss Mirabell (Elegant SA).  Melissa is also the grand dam of WA Maksimum (*Ganges).
