Bajra

The bay may Bajra was bred by Janów Podlaski and foaled in 1966.  Certainly considered one of the better Czort daughters, she was one of the stand outs of her generation on the track, winning 6 times in 21 starts including the Oaks, ending her career with a earnings coefficient of 3.12 (1.0 being average).  Bajra was sent from Janów Podlaski to help establish the new State Stud of Kurozweki and shortly after her arrival she was bred to Banat.  Before she foaled Bajra was exported to Christinelund Arabian Stud in Sweden in 1974 where she remained throughout her broodmare career until her death in 1981.
